Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced.
Retro Studios have been hiring talent from a number of top studios over the last couple of years, and recently even moved into a new HQ to facilitate an expansion while they continue to work on the upcoming Switch title. Published Amazon sends messages to people who have Metroid Prime 4 pre-ordered, possibly leaking the game's release window in the process. In early 2019, Nintendo informed the community that the development of the title was failing to meet its expectations for unexplained reasons and that the title was being scrapped and restarted.
Still makes me a little sad that only now Nintendo is giving Metroid some more attention via social media and other online content. However, Metroid Prime 4's development was restarted, which is why it's still not out yet.
#AMAZON METROID PRIME 4 SERIES#
Metroid Prime as a series ( Metroid as a whole, in fact) has always prided itself on strong boss battles, so this should be a pretty important position to fill out. I couldn't find hard numbers for Samus Returns, but I guess it sold 'well enough' for Metroid standards at the very least. Retro Studios recently took to Twitter to generate some interest in filling out a position on the Metroid Prime 4 development team- specifically, that of Boss/AI Designer, which will do pretty much exactly what the position’s name implies. I got it off of Amazon (Metroid Prime 3 Samus Aran Figma Action Figure), but other people have apparently found it on some other sites for less. Concrete updates from Nintendo or Retro have been understandably sparse since then, but things such as job listings have kept fans in the loop about the game’s development to some extent. Okay so it definitely was pricey.like 110 I think when I bought it. Here are 10 games like Metroid Prime to play next, listed by Metascore. Metroid Prime 4 is expected to arrive sometime in the future, but until then, you'll have to look outside the series for all your 'First Person Adventure' needs.
#AMAZON METROID PRIME 4 DOWNLOAD#
Retro Studios took over the Metroid Prime 4 project nearly two years ago now, at which point development on the game was rebooted from scratch. Metroid Dread - available as a digital download (49.99 from Nintendo) or physical Nintendo Switch cartridge (48.75 from Amazon) Metroid Prime 4 - pre-orders haven't opened yet, but you can. After wrapping up all three games in the Metroid Prime trilogy, there are plenty of similar games to pick up next.
